New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) also recommended that the new academic session be started from April 1. The board said that only after this, Class IX and 11th examinations should be conducted and during this time the Covid-19 rescue rules should be fully ensured. CBSE exam controller Sanyam Bhardwaj said these things in a letter to the principals of the schools.
Bhardwaj said, “Through these examinations, it will also help to find out the damage done to students’ education, which can be taken by the schools in the new academic session. A specially designed bridge course can be resorted to to compensate for this loss. “
Schools were closed for several months due to a nationwide lockdown implemented in March last year to prevent the spread of corona virus infection. The students studied through online classes. Bhardwaj said in the letter that the safety measures from Kovid-19 should be strictly followed while conducting classes or examinations. It was also said that it would be appropriate to start the academic session from April 1, 2021-22, following the instructions of the state government.
