Many times, we wonder if we can get a better job opportunity while we are working in the current organization. We do apply in various job portals and post our Resume or CV to ensure that organizations look at it and respond to us through a call or email.
However, that doesn’t happen even after trying for a long period of time. The right opportunity from a good company never knocks on your door and you become really anxious to stay in your current organization, which has all the kinds of office politics, work-life imbalance, stressful targets, and all the negativity around you that hits your self-esteem and self-belief like anything.
Here is when you tolerate every bad thing at the workplace just because you don’t have yet another job or offer. But stress takes a toll in your personal and professional life both and you become more or less of an irritated or anxious person who is no more enjoying life and being grateful for whatever you have in life.
Then you actually decide that it is better to switch away from your current job and stay home to reflect on the future in-depth and make a good move, rather than living in hell every day and feeling sad about the things that keep unfolding in your personal and professional lives.
It’s good when you come to a conclusion and close one stressful chapter of your life so that you can start a new chapter with full energy and enthusiasm. However, while you are jobless or unemployed, you may come across many crisis times in terms of finances, relations, feelings, etc. till you actually crack the interview for another job. But don’t worry as the job crisis is all like a temporary phase which is quite prevalent in this 21st century and you are not alone.
You can think of upskilling yourself or be willing to take up a better profile than sticking to the old patterns of believing in where lies your true happiness.
