Today, August 3, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the class 10 results. While an official announcement is still pending, the 10th results are expected to be released at noon today. At cbse.nic.in and cbsereuslts.nic.in, almost 20 lakh students will receive their results. DigiLocker will also include CBSE 10th grade results.
COVID-19 caused the CBSE Class 10 examinations to be cancelled this time. This decision was made in conjunction with the class 12 tests. Instead, the grades are determined using a different assessment criterion. Students will be graded in a 10:30:40 ratio, with ten percent for unit assessments, thirty percent for midterms, and forty percent for pre-board exams.

Students must receive at least 33% to pass the CBSE 10th grade. This year, virtually every board promoted all of the students and received a 100% pass rate. Although the CBSE has not established such a policy, the pass rate in class 12 results just released was at an all-time high of 99.37 percent. The pass rate in class 12 is also projected to grow. Last year, 91.46 percent of students passed; this year, 91.1 percent passed. Students should expect a better pass rate in the future.

This year’s CBSE class 10 results have been postponed many times. The board had planned to announce the class 10 results 20th but got delayed due to logistical issues and backlogs owing to covid related lockdowns. Class 12 results were revealed after the Supreme Court set a deadline of July 31 for class 12 results, and class 10 results were pushed back even more.

Every year, pupils are given CBSE Result Marksheets. Students are given different papers, such as a mark sheet and a certificate. However, this time, the Board will only provide one document for their results, which will be a combined mark sheet-cum-certificate. Students will be able to check their CBSE 10th Results on a variety of sites. Students may check their CBSE 10th Result 2021 on Digilocker through SMS, IVRS, and the UMANG app, in addition to the official websites.
