BJP workers chant Jai Shri Ram slogan at Mamata’s road show in Reyapara

Nandigram: TMC supremo and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was greeted with ‘Jai Shri Ram’ slogans on Tuesday by a section of BJP supporters while her convoy was passing through a section here where Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to hold a roadshow for party candidate Suvendu Adhikari.

A section of BJP activists holding party flags raised slogans ” Jai Shri Ram” while the chief minister’s convoy was passing through Reyapara on way to Nandigram where she has electioneering.

Even some BJP supporters were seen running behind the convoy with shouting slogans and this forced the security personnel

of the chief minister to dissuade them from chasing Ms Banerjee will hold a roadshow at Nandigram where the campaigning ends for a second this afternoon for the April 1 poll.

Nandigram in East Medinipur has become a focal point where Ms Banerjee decided to contest from there against Suvendu Adhikari.
