Kozhikode: Senior Congress leader and MP from Wayanad Lok Sabha seat Rahul Gandhi has alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is avoiding criticizing the party in Kerala despite the Marxist Communist Party (CPI-M) being engulfed in controversies in Kerala.
He said at a public meeting near Koyilandy here, “Prime Minister always talks about Congress-mukt Bharat. But he never talked of a CPI-free India. This is a clear proof of the secret agreement between the BJP and the Left Democratic Front (LDF). “
He said that the LDF government cheated the fishermen of the state. The CPI (M) -led LDF government has stabbed fishermen in the back.
Mr. Gandhi said that the state government has this attitude towards the fishermen fighting for their survival.
